Digital Public Infrastructure in agriculture unifies e-Pik Pahani data with Farmer IDs to automate PMFBY insurance payouts and MSP procurement.
The Digital Agriculture Mission's central platform, AgriStack, has achieved full integration with the Maharashtra State Government's land record registry (Bhulekh) and digital crop registry (e-Pik Pahani).
Practical Benefits of AgriStack for Farmers - Unique Farmer ID (G-ID): Every landowner receives a 12-digit digital Farmer ID linked to their Aadhaar, land parcel geo-coordinates, and bank account. - Automated Scheme Approvals: Physical document submission for crop insurance claims, input subsidies, and fertilizer purchase will be phased out as state verification occurs digitally. - Zero-Dispute Panchanama: Satellite verification cross-checks farmer-uploaded crop photos, eliminating disputes over incorrect survey number records.
