Maharashtra Cabinet Approves Ladli Behna Welfare Scheme Expansion
The state cabinet extends registration deadline and increases monthly financial support for eligible women.
Under the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, the Maharashtra State Government has extended the registration date and relaxed eligibility criteria to cover women from families with an annual income up to ₹2.5 Lakhs. The monthly financial transfer of ₹1,500 will be directly deposited into verified bank accounts starting this month. The scheme is estimated to support over 1.2 Crore women across rural and urban Maharashtra.
