Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) Hikes Minimum Support Price (MSP) for Rabi Crops 2026–27

Union Cabinet approves upward revision in benchmark MSP rates for wheat, gram (chana), mustard, and safflower to guarantee 50% returns over cost.
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by the Prime Minister, has approved the Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for all mandated Rabi crops for the 2026–27 marketing season.

The highest absolute price increase was allocated to oilseeds (safflower and mustard) to incentivize domestic edible oil production and reduce import dependency.
