The Union Cabinet has approved the deployment of National Health Claims Exchange (NHCX), a digital platform developed by the National Health Authority. NHCX will serve as a common gateway for exchanging claim-related information between hospitals and insurance companies. This policy change will allow cashless claim approvals within 3 hours, replacing current paper-heavy processes that take several days.
